HOW DO WE APPLY TO BE A CONTINGENT IN THE PISTAHAN PARADE?

Fill out the online Pistahan Participation form. You can also pay for your parade registration fees when you submit your form online.

WHEN IS THE PARADE AND WHAT IS THE SCHEDULE FOR CONTINGENTS?

The 2019 Pistahan Parade is on Saturday, August 10. Parade Units should plan for the following schedule:

8:00 am – Registration Table opens in assembly area. (See map)

9:00 am – Call time for all Parade contingents. Gather at San Francisco Civic Center Plaza, along Larkin Street. ENTER assembly area via corner of Larkin and McAllister Streets. (See map)

10:45 am – Ribbon Cutting Ceremony will kick-off the Pistahan weekend.

11:00 am – The Pistahan Parade begins at the San Francisco Civic Center at Grove Street and Larkin Street.

WHERE IS THE PARADE ROUTE?

Contingents assemble at SF Civic Center Plaza at Larkin and Fulton Streets. From the Civic Center, contingents march down Market Street, make a right on 4th street, then disembark east onto Folsom Street.

WHERE DO PARADE UNITS ASSEMBLE? WHERE DO THEY DISEMBARK?

Your Parade Unit confirmation letter includes instructions on your cluster assignment and where to park and unload for assembly at the Civic Center. You will be directed at the end of the parade route for disembarking.

WHAT ARE THE PARADE REGISTRATION FEES?

Parade registration fees are payable when you submit the Pistahan Participation form. You can pay online via PayPal or credit card. Note that you do not need a PayPal account in order to use your credit card.
