We are independent owned, born in Tondo Manila, Philippines and raised in Oakland, California.  Humbled by the strong values that were taught by our elders, we remain conscious to our responsibility to carry on our culture. 

KALINGAFORNIA

Kalingafornia Laga is a shared experience where Jenny Bawer Young teaches the traditional backstrap weaving called Laga in her language. A Master Weaver who learned the painstaking and time consuming tradition that passed down through her mother's family, her weaving creations are not only authentic, but in high demand.

LOLA X KENNETH

In 2014 I moved back home to help care for my grandmother (Lola in Tagalog), and we started working together. Lola makes a painting in watercolor, and then I add drawings or illustrations based on her stories and memories. When Lola passed, she left me with her paintings and a purpose. I promise to finish everything she started.

Inaro & Co is a clothing brand that showcases Frisco/Bay Area and Pangsinan Culture for our Filipino community. Our first collection is called the Urduja X Champion Collection. Urduja was a warrior princess from the 14th century that was based in my father’s province of Pangasinan (used to be called “Tawalisi”. Urduja was famous for her strength and leadership to her community and people.

Rust and Filipiana paintings. Born in February 1983 and raised in San Jose City, Nueva Ecija, Ramon Lopez is a unique natural-born artist. Besides using acrylic and oil, he uses "rust" pigments as his medium. Ramon's art work shows lively, brilliant, vivid and drama in any theme.
